Climate Change Team

April 05, 2007 climate change sceptics have seized on news that Mars is heating up to back their claim that humans are not causing Earthly global warming. 6C average temperature rise during the 20th century. William Kininmonth, former head of the National Climate Centre in Melbourne. Mr Kininmonth said the research, published in the journal Nature, showed there was enough natural climate variability to account for global warming on Earth. Not so, claimed Neville Nicholls, a climate scientist at Monash University in Melbourne. The research was done by a team led by Lori Fenton of the NASA Ames Research Centre at Moffett Field, California. Earth, adding Martian features such as a cold, airless surface and a shifting south polar ice cap while subtracting Earths oceans and atmosphere.

Over the past 30 years, the dust swept clean large swaths of the planets surface, reducing reflected radiation.

UNSW climate scientist Andy Pitman. Professor Pitman was lead author of the climate modelling section of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report released in February. Professor Pitman disputed Associate Professor Frankss claim that changes in Earths albedo had a bigger influence on climate than greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide. It is a very difficult situation for any country to be in when it comes to lessening emissions to save the planet earth. Governments in several nations such as Australia, New Zealand, Costa Rica and Panama are continually trying hard to not to spread pollution in order to safeguard their environments. China, Brazil, India, Mexico and USA are the largest contributors towards carbon emissions. China and US should try to levy the risks of various diseases and the spread of pollutants in the atmosphere. Chinas cities are copying American and European cities by building cities that do not hinder their progress for the future. However, the problem lies in the corruption and continuous spread of companies worldwide. This is very much true in the case of united states and China. China has become an epicentre for multinationals from the USA and Europe. Thus, this has led to the widespread of harmful pollutants within Chinese cities. Major cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Chongching and Janjing have suffered the worst.

America and China would have to work as a team. Their governments would have to join forces with the rest of the world and pursue global programmes in spreading the message of clean earth. They will have to look into various strategies that would indeed improve their natural environments.

Consequently, this would encourage China and USA realise the potential dangers of climate change.

Moreover, the Chinese and American governments must take serious note of other countries doing well in the field of environmental protection efforts such as Australia and New Zealand.
